Brads Igiugig Lodge
Igiugig, Alaska
Brads Igiugig Lodge is a remote Bristol Bay fishing lodge on the shore of Lake Iliamna at the head of the Kvichak River, roughly two hundred miles south-west of Anchorage and reached through the village of Igiugig. It is run by Brad and Brenda Waitman, who bring over thirty-five years in the lodging business, with Brad serving as pilot-guide on the strength of thirty-five years flying and guiding in Bristol Bay waters. It is deliberately small: the lodge takes no more than six to eight guests at a time and states that it books groups of six. Other guides named include a twenty-year veteran of the Iliamna drainage and a guide entering his fourth season on the Kvichak. Post is handled through a Wasilla box. No founding year for the lodge itself is published.
