Cotter Trout Dock
Cotter, Arkansas
Cotter Trout Dock is a fish camp and float trip outfitter that has operated at Cotter, Arkansas since 1954, in an Ozarks town built around the river that runs past it. Ron, Debbie and Dylan Gamble own it. The business is fully licensed and insured and approved by the National Park Service, which covers its work on the Buffalo National River. Boats, rods and reels are furnished by the dock, and multi-day camping trips are outfitted from it. Services around the fishing include airport pickup from the Marion County and Baxter County airports and help arranging rooms and restaurant reservations; the dock keeps a list of partner lodging properties ranging from two blocks away to about 20 minutes out.
