Dakota Angler & Outfitter

Dakota Angler & Outfitter runs a storefront at 1010 Jackson Boulevard in Rapid City, and retail is a substantial part of what it does. The shop stocks Sage, Scott, Winston, Echo, Orvis, G Loomis, Hardy, Simms, Patagonia, Redington, Rio Products and Scientific Anglers, along with a broad range of fly tying materials. Fly tying instruction and classes are on the schedule. The doors stay open year round, with winter hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays. The guided menu extends past moving water to still water on Pactola Reservoir, Sheridan Lake and Deerfield Lake, and pike trips and tenkara outings are sold as separate products.
