Pisgah Outdoors

Pisgah Forest, North Carolina

Pisgah Outdoors, Inc. is a Western North Carolina fly fishing outfitter working in the Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest under permit PIS6842, with a registered address at 135 Milbourne Ridge, Pisgah Forest. Heath Cartee owns it and guides it, and his stated approach is to meet a client where they are and leave them with a little more at the end of the day, beginners included. The trip menu runs well past a standard guided day: tenkara on high-gradient freestone streams, bike-fishing trips that use mountain bikes purely for access, and dedicated multi-day backcountry outings for fit, advanced anglers. Other water includes the French Broad, South Holston and Watauga.
