Reno Fly Shop

A brick and mortar store at 238 South Arlington Avenue in downtown Reno that describes itself as the only full service fly fishing outfitter and fly shop in northern Nevada. Retail is a real part of the business: rods, reels, lines, leaders and tippet, fly boxes, a fly bin that includes patterns tied specifically for Pyramid Lake, tying materials from hooks and beads to dubbing and vises, hats, hoodies and drinkware, beginner starter kits, and a Re-Up program for used equipment. Rental gear is stocked for anglers who arrive without waders or a rod. Beyond the counter the shop runs classes and clinics, hosts international travel, and publishes a newsletter covering trips, classes and deals. The guide program reaches beyond the home river to Pyramid Lake and other regional waters.
