Yakutat’s Situk Inn

Yakutat’s Situk Inn is a family-run inn and guide service at P.O. Box 56, Yakutat, Alaska, owned by Rube and Mary Evens. Two guides work the rivers, Bob Fraker and Frank Deveroux, credited between them with over sixty years of experience. Lodging is the backbone of the business: five residence-style lodges, each with its own kitchen, bedrooms, dining area and a dry room for wet gear, with daily housekeeping and laundry, which suits families, corporate retreats and business groups as readily as anglers. Saltwater and Hubbard Glacier day trips are not run in house but handed to a local charter partner.
