Chagrin River Outfitters
Chagrin Falls, Ohio · Fishes Chagrin River, Rocky River
Chagrin River Outfitters is a fly shop and guide service in Chagrin Falls, on the river it is named for. Its guided season runs from October 15 through April 30 and covers the northeast Ohio steelhead tributaries from the Chagrin east to Conneaut Creek, with the Grand River in between and occasional days across the Pennsylvania line. The shop also works the Rocky River on the west side of Cleveland and publishes its own Rocky River access and holding water map alongside the trip listings. Wading days are the bread and butter: a half day for up to two anglers is $400 and a full day is $500. A full day float in a raft for up to two anglers is $550, which opens water that is hard to cover on foot when flows are up. Two one on one options of about six hours are also sold at $375 each, one built around swinging flies and one around indicator fishing. A deposit of $100 holds a date.
