Landlocked Guide Service

Landlocked Guide Service targets striped bass on Lake Murray, launching from the Lexington, South Carolina side of the lake. Captain Richy has fished Lake Murray for 15 years and runs trips through the full range of South Carolina seasons, noting that fishing from October through May can turn dangerously cold while summer months run hot. Trips are booked as a four-hour half-day charter or an eight-hour full-day charter, each covering one to four anglers, with additional anglers taken on for an extra fee. Clients are supplied iced coolers for the catch and for drinks, and fish processing is available as an add-on once the trip ends. The operation backs its trips with a guarantee: if clients are not put on fish, the next trip is free.
