Saluda Valley Guides

Columbia, South Carolina

Saluda Valley Guides, LLC is a Columbia, South Carolina outfit founded in September 2013 by Jake Howard, who taught himself to fly fish at twelve on the river the company is named for. He moved to Colorado out of high school and guided upwards of a hundred trips a season there, spending close to three hundred days a year on the water, then came back to South Carolina in 2003. He works full time at Barron’s Outfitters in downtown Columbia alongside the guide service and sits on the Team Stonefly competitive fly fishing roster.
