Brookville Lake Guide Service
Brookville, Indiana · Fishes Brookville Lake
Trips work Brookville Lake, a seventeen-mile-long reservoir running roughly a hundred and ten feet deep at the dam. A typical day starts at daylight and runs through around noon. Anglers meet at the 52 Pik-up convenience store and tackle shop in town to take on fuel, ice, bait and a fishing licence, and it is about a five-minute ride from there to the boat ramp. The lake carries a mixed cool-water and warm-water fishery: walleye and hybrid striped bass are the marquee targets, with musky, white bass, crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill and catfish all available, so the day’s pattern is chosen off whichever species is grouped up at the time rather than fixed in advance. Bait and fuel are covered in the price of the trip, and the guide cleans and bags the catch at the end. Half-day, full-day and multi-day itineraries are offered, and the trip is built around what the client wants to target.
