Tar-Pam Guide Service
Bath, North Carolina
Tar-Pam Guide Service is a full-time professional guide business on North Carolina’s Inner Banks, based at Bath and run by Capt. Richard Andrews with a second guide, Hurley Raynor. Andrews founded the operation in 2010 after entering the charter industry in 2001. The fleet is built for range rather than one fishery: a 23-foot Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman, a 22-foot Pathfinder bay boat and a 19-foot flat-bottom fiberglass skiff cover everything from open sound to shallow river work. Waters worked include the Tar River, Pamlico Sound and Albemarle Sound alongside the two rivers above. Andrews separately owns Andrews River Outfitters in Southwest Virginia.
