FlyFishGA is the guide business of Kent Edmonds, a fly-fishing guide based in LaGrange, Georgia, who has fished the Southeast for over forty years and has guided full time since 2001. He is a Federation of Fly Fishers certified instructor and was named the Southeastern Council’s Man of the Year in 2007 and its Fly Casting Instructor of the Year in 2013. The Flint is one of several waters he covers: he also guides the Chattahoochee River, the Soque River, West Point Lake and Callaway Gardens, which between them span shoal bass, trout, striper and stillwater fishing. Alongside guided days he teaches casting and fly tying at $60 an hour for one or two people, and he gives presentations, classes and demonstrations to clubs and shops around the region. Enquiries and bookings go direct to him by telephone or email rather than through a shop or a booking platform.
