Jenny E Charters fishes the protected water of the Great South Bay and Fire Island Inlet on Long Island’s South Shore, running out to the near-shore ocean outside the inlet when weather and conditions allow. Trips carry up to four anglers and are sold in two forms: a fluke and bottom-species charter at 350 dollars for four hours or 600 dollars for eight, and a striped bass charter for one to three anglers at 400 dollars for four hours or 700 dollars for eight, each adding 50 dollars per extra angler. Departure and return times are flexible rather than fixed, and the boat leaves from West Islip; anglers staying on Fire Island can be collected at Kismet, Saltaire or Fair Harbor for a 50 dollar surcharge. The platform is a 25 foot Kencraft Buxton.
