Flies & Lies is a full service fly shop and guide service at 8570 South Highway 67 in Deckers, Colorado, close to the mouth of Cheesman Canyon, family owned and operated since 1991 by anglers who built it around this stretch of river. The shop sells flies and gear from Scott, Fishpond, Simms and Ross Reels, issues fishing and hunting licenses, and runs an online store. Rentals go out first come, first served for same day return: a complete package at $55 a day, boots and waders or a rod and reel at $30 each, and single items at $15. Hours are 8 to 4 Monday through Thursday and 8 to 5 Friday through Sunday in summer. Cabin rentals are offered nearby. Five guides are on staff, headed by owner Jeremy Hyatt with Dalton Glenn, Rob Keane, Jesse Bertsch and Jim Wright.
