Arkansas Fly Fishing Guide works the Little Red River out of Heber Springs in north central Arkansas, and the trout fishing there is the core of the business. Trips run from drift boats and jet boats depending on water conditions, and wading days are arranged on request. A half day is $350 and a full day $450, with an additional $50 for days spent on the White River or the North Fork instead. Trips normally start at 8 a.m., though the start time is flexible. Mike Winkler guides the boats himself, and the site emphasizes reading changing water conditions through the year to work out where the trout are holding and what they will take.
