Streamside Custom Rod & Guide Service

Fairview, Michigan

Streamside Custom Rod & Guide Service is a northern Michigan guide business, custom rod shop and online fly shop, headed by Kelly Neuman and carrying copyright back to 1992. Rod building is a real second trade here: rods are built on Winston and Sage blanks with custom wrapping and guides, and sold as combos with Abel or Bauer reels. The online store carries custom Michigan and Great Lakes flies along with Winston rods, Bauer reels and Airflo lines. Guiding is not limited to one river or one season. Besides the home water the service works the Betsie and Jordan rivers and Lake Huron, and in January through March it moves south to guide the White River in Arkansas, which keeps the operation running through the northern winter.
