West Branch Angler Resort

West Branch Angler is a fly fishing resort rather than a guide service alone, established in 1991 and marking more than thirty years in business. It occupies 300 acres at 150 Faulkner Road outside Hancock, New York, including a private two mile section of river that guests can fish from the property. Lodging is the core of it: over thirty private cabin rentals fitted with amenities, spread across the grounds. The River Run Restaurant handles food on site, and there is a fly shop with an online storefront for gear and flies. Drift boat rentals are offered for anglers who prefer to row themselves rather than book a guide. Hancock sits at the junction of the branches of the Delaware, which is what put the resort where it is and what the business is organized around.
