Delaware River Club
Starlight, Pennsylvania · Fishes West Branch Delaware River
The Delaware River Club guides the West Branch of the Delaware from its property at Starlight, Pennsylvania, and works the wider system as well: the main stem, the East Branch, the Beaverkill and the Willowemoc. Floats are run in McKenzie-style drift boats carrying a guide and two anglers, and wade trips are offered on the same water, including private-access outings on the West Branch. A full day of floating or wading runs $550 with lunch, a half day is $395, and a three-hour Prime Time Special is sold on July and August evenings for $250 to catch the summer hatches after the heat. A third angler can join a wade trip for $125. Smallmouth bass trips run from late June into mid-October alongside the wild rainbow and brown trout fishing. The river system is known for large mayfly and caddis hatches, and guides work through entomology and technique with guests rather than simply putting them over fish.
