Finn Provisions

Finn Provisions was established in 2013 and operates a fly shop and gallery in Spearfish alongside a guided fly fishing service. Spearfish Creek is the home water, running through Spearfish Canyon at the northern edge of the Black Hills, and the shop describes it as holding wild rainbow and brown trout. Rapid Creek is the second water listed on the company’s waters page, where rainbow, brown and brook trout are all named. The shop publishes its own fishing reports for these streams and states that it is fully permitted and insured, including a partnership arrangement with the U.S. Forest Service that covers guiding on national forest ground in the canyon. Guided availability is described as limited, and bookings are handled through the site or by phone. Outside of guiding, Finn Provisions hosts fly tying nights on select Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Trip rates are not posted on the site.
