Bull Shoals, Arkansas · Fishes Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals Lake trips go out in a Ranger bass boat fished with both artificial and live bait, and the guide own account of the water is plain: he has been guiding on Bull Shoals Lake for over fifty years. The stated specialties on the lake are bass of several kinds – white, smallmouth, largemouth, Kentucky and striped – along with walleye, catfish and bream. Days here are not clock-watched. The shop says it fishes eight hours or more on the water and will shift to the morning or the late afternoon when the bite is better, including split days of three to four hours early, a break, then another three to four hours in the evening and on after dark. The lake trip is priced at 550 dollars for one angler and 650 for two on a full eight-hour day, and at 400 and 450 respectively on a four-hour half day. Parties of one to sixteen can be accommodated on the lake.
