Hufstedlers puts floaters onto the Eleven Point, the National Wild and Scenic river that runs cold out of Greer Spring through the Irish Wilderness in south-central Missouri. The shop advertises the largest selection of watercraft on the Eleven Point and is the only canoe rental within walking distance of the river, which makes short-notice launches and late take-outs workable. Trips reach Greer Spring, Turner’s Mill, Boze Mill Spring and the White’s Creek Cave area. The spring-fed flow holds rainbow and brown trout through the upper reaches in summer, with smallmouth in the warmer water below. Floats run under a Mark Twain National Forest permit.
