James River Outfitters

James River Outfitters floats a 6-mile stretch of the James at Galena, on the free-flowing water above the river’s arm of Table Rock Lake and the reach that Ozark float fishing was built on. Kayaks, canoes, rafts and tubes go out with shuttle service included, and because the campground is at the take-out a party can float all day and camp on site rather than drive back to Springfield or Branson. The James through here runs green over gravel with bluffs on the outside bends, and smallmouth, largemouth and rock bass hold in the deeper pools.
