Quick Hit Charters

Raystown Lake gives up both striped bass and lake trout, and Quick Hit Charters fishes for them out of Huntingdon from March through November. Captain Rob Clouser runs a 21-foot Trophy with a cuddy cabin, rigged with fish finders, downriggers, rod holders and a specialised live bait tank, which lets the boat drift live bait for stripers and troll deep for lakers on the same outing. The standard trip is six hours, with four- and eight-hour options available on request. Rates run $375 for one or two anglers, $425 for three and $475 for four, and the boat takes first-time anglers as readily as experienced ones.
