Vermont Fishing Trips

Otter Creek is the main water, fished from Danby down to Center Rutland, with the Battenkill, the Mettawee, East Creek and the Walloomsac also covered. Days are four hour half days for up to three guests and all the gear needed is provided. Brook, rainbow and brown trout are the fish. The trophy stretch opens on the second Saturday in April and closes on the thirty first of October, while catch and release water is open the year round. Red quills, tan caddis, light cahill and fall caddis are the hatches named.
