Housatonic River Guides

The roster is larger than most operations working this river: six guides in all. Scott Becroft co-owns the company and has worked this fishery since 2005, after a stretch guiding in Maine. Jeanie Clarke is the other owner. Tristan Wilgan holds the head guide title, with more than seven years of guiding behind him and over twenty years with a fly rod. Tom Wilcox brings upward of forty years of fishing and guiding, including time running charters on Lake Ontario. Larry Wilcox came through SweetWater Guide School in 2015 after working as a party boat mate, and Alex Ferraiuolo concentrates on Connecticut streams and their tributaries. That spread of backgrounds is what lets several parties be out at the same time rather than one boat at a time.
