More a full service base camp than a guide service alone, pairing a fly shop with the affiliated Cliff Dwellers Lodge and its restaurant on US-89A, so a room, a meal, gear and a guide can all be arranged through one operation. The shop bills itself as the state’s biggest fly fishing outfitter and the longest running fly shop at the top of the canyon. Retail covers rods, reels, waders and tailwater flies, and the company rents out its custom aluminum boats to visitors who can tow a trailer. Instruction is treated as a core part of the business, with the shop stating it has taught thousands of people to fly fish. A separate kayak arm handles Horseshoe Bend paddling with rentals and an upriver drop, giving the operation a second line of work alongside the fishing.
