Trout Bum 2 is a fly shop and guide service at 4343 N. Highway 224 in Park City, Utah, open Monday through Saturday 8 to 6 and Sunday 9 to 3. Owner Chad Jaques is a Utah native who grew up on the river and hires guides himself, describing them as veterans who live to fish. Trips are not limited to one drainage. The Weber River sits twenty minutes from the shop and is worked as a wild brown trout and caddis fishery, with a Mother’s Day caddis early and more caddis through summer. Green River float days are sold inside multi day packages: the Blue Ribbon Sampler at $1,175 and the Grand Slam at $1,700. Small streams and less traveled water within one to two hours of Park City are booked as full days only, since timing them takes travel and the right water level. Rates exclude Utah sales tax and licenses.
