Harvey’s equips floats on the Jacks Fork and the Current out of Alley Spring and downtown Eminence, the two put-in areas that bracket the lower Jacks Fork before it meets the Current River. Canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes go out with shuttle service under a National Park Service concession, and the shop offers free pickup and drop-off from local lodging and campgrounds so floaters can leave a vehicle behind. The Jacks Fork runs clear and shallow over gravel through the summer, holding smallmouth, rock bass and longear sunfish in its shaded pools. Saturday shuttles start at 7am and other days at 8am.
