Two named pieces of the Taylor are worked. The catch and release section is a short stretch holding trophy rainbows and browns that are famously hard to move to a fly, reached by the drive up through Taylor Canyon, and the canyon water itself is fished as well. Floats go in rafts, half or full day, at four hundred to seven hundred dollars, and walk and wade days at four hundred to seven hundred and seventy-five. Private lease water is full day only at five hundred and fifty to nine hundred and seventy-five. A spin float in a raft is four hundred to five hundred and seventy-five and winter ice fishing three hundred and twenty-five to six hundred. Rainbow and brown trout are the summer and autumn fish and lake trout the winter one, with kokanee salmon and the occasional northern pike about. Guide, flies, rods, reels and waders are included and lunch comes with a full day; licences and the customary twenty per cent gratuity are not.
