The guided water is a private mile of Taylor River Gold Medal water running through the ranch at 6748 County Road 742, together with the public land of the Gunnison Ranger District. Trips are walk and wade only and four hours long, at three hundred dollars for one angler, four hundred and fifty for two and six hundred for three. Anyone not staying at the ranch can buy day access to the private water for a hundred and fifty dollars a head, and cabin guests fish it at no charge. Rainbows, browns, cutthroat and brookies are all in the river. Midges hatch the whole year round, stoneflies from March into June, caddis, tricos and terrestrials from May through September, and blue winged olives and pale morning duns across July and August. Waders, boots, rod, reel, line, leader, tippet, shot and indicators are supplied; the angler brings a licence, flies, sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
