The boat works out of Bahrs Marina at 2 Bay Avenue in Highlands and specialises in light tackle and fly fishing across Raritan and Sandy Hook Bay, New York Harbor and the coastal beaches of Monmouth County. Captain Fletcher Chayes favours live-lining bunker and casting plugs for trophy striped bass, and names May and June as the prime months for bass over fifty pounds. Summer brings fluke season and family charters in the bays and on the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers. From October into December the fishing turns to jigging bass under working birds and taking blackfish on reefs and wrecks. Charters are all-inclusive, with boat, fuel, tackle, bait, cooler, ice and fishing licence supplied.
