BSC Outdoors launches on the Big Piney and the Gasconade from its landing near Dixon. The Big Piney trips are a 5-mile run from Piney Landing at Devil’s Elbow down to the campground and an 8-mile float from Blue Spring, both of which carry a party off the Piney and into the Gasconade before take-out. Gasconade-only options run 3, 5 and 14 miles. Canoes, rafts, kayaks, deluxe river tubes and jon boats are all rented. On Saturdays and major holiday weekends the shuttle buses leave for the up-river put-ins at 9:00am, 10:30am and 12:30pm on a first come, first served rotation. Smallmouth, rock bass and longear sunfish hold through the Piney’s bluff pools.
