Guided lake fishing leaves from the Colter Bay Village marina on Jackson Lake aboard a five-passenger cabin cruiser, a private outing with a knowledgeable guide, fishing equipment and a personal fish finder included in the price. It is charged by the hour with a two-hour minimum and a ceiling of five guests, and the published activity length runs anywhere from two to eight hours. There is no age restriction on the lake trips, though a child under six has to be accompanied by a paying adult who is not fishing, and life jackets are worn throughout. The company also runs a separate eight-hour guided fly fishing day on the Snake River for cutthroat, with rods, reels, waders, lunch and ground transport included. A Wyoming state licence is bought separately and can be picked up at Colter Bay Village.
