Guided fishing on the Green River runs from kayaks on the stretch outside Mammoth Cave National Park, and Jason Yeager works that water through the summer months, shifting to nearby reservoirs when lake traffic thins out. Kayaks and fishing gear come with the trip. Largemouth, smallmouth, white and hybrid bass share the river with crappie and bluegill. The small craft get into shallow, tight water that larger boats cannot reach easily.
