Signal Mountain Lodge
Moran, Wyoming · Fishes Jackson Lake
Guided fishing on Jackson Lake runs from the middle of May to the first week of September, weather and lake conditions permitting, with the guides supplying all the equipment and tackle and taking the boat to the productive water. The lake lies inside Grand Teton National Park and holds cutthroat, brown and lake trout, and the pitch is as much the uncrowded atmosphere and the mountain scenery as the fish. Every trip is a private charter with a two-hour minimum and a maximum of five guests: two-hour slots run from half past seven in the morning through to the late afternoon and four-hour blocks run morning or afternoon, with hourly pricing and a per-person supplement past two anglers. A separate guided fly fishing outing on the same lake takes up to two people. A Wyoming state licence is needed and the minimum age is six.
