Land of Enchantment Guides
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Land of Enchantment Guides works out of 1297 Bishop’s Lodge Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico, alongside its retail arm The Fly Fishing Outpost, and its guides cover the whole of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. The published water list runs to the San Juan, the Rio Grande, the Red River, the Brazos, Costilla Creek, the Rio Vallecitos, the Cimarron, the Rio de Los Pinos, the Jemez and its San Antonio Creek and Rio Guadalupe tributaries, the Rio Pueblo de Taos, the Conejos and the streams of the Valles Caldera. A large part of what it sells is access: rod fees are published for the Valles Caldera preserve and for the Bar X Bar, MK, Canones Creek, Corkins and Cow Creek ranches, ranging from twenty-five to a hundred and eighty dollars per angler on top of the day rate. Full days include a proper lunch, snacks and beverages, half days hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and all rods, reels, waders, flies and tippet come at no extra cost. Overnight and multi-day trips are built to order as all-inclusive packages covering guiding, meals and lodging.
