Clarks Hill Lake, which is also Lake Strom Thurmond, is the water, and guests are met at Raysville Marina on Lincolnton Road at Thomson. Up to six anglers fish a trip. Winter and spring crappie trolling starts at four hundred dollars; a six hour striper trip and a six hour crappie trip each start at five hundred; an eight hour crappie day starts at eight hundred, and a corporate or large group booking at nine hundred. Black and white crappie, striped bass, white perch and blue catfish are the species worked. Clients are asked to bring a cooler to carry the catch home, and help is given with buying a licence.
