Finstincts floats the John Graves Scenic Riverway stretch of the Brazos River below Possum Kingdom Lake, running drift-boat-style rafts that carry two anglers apiece. The flagship Day Tripper is a full-day float, roughly seven to eight hours with a 6-8 a.m. launch depending on season, priced from $650 per boat and including a shore lunch cooked partway down the run. Days mix wading the shallow gravel and fishing deeper holes from the raft. Largemouth bass are the year-round quarry; stocked rainbow trout take over on half-day December-through-February outings, and stripers move through in the warmer months. A half-day walk-and-wade on the tailwater below the dam starts at $250. Trips run Valentine’s Day through Christmas.
