Days on Idaho’s Kootenai run seven to eight hours, shorter on request, in drift boats that include wooden ones, with one or two anglers to a boat and a third arranged by telephone. One angler is six hundred dollars and two are six hundred and seventy-five, with a hundred dollar deposit inside ten days of booking and the balance due sixty days out. The river is pitched as a hidden gem where you will not be crowded by other anglers. Redband rainbow, cutthroat and bull trout, burbot, kokanee and sturgeon are the fish named on the page. All fly fishing equipment and flies are provided along with a streamside lunch, snacks, drinks and a dry bag; the angler brings an Idaho licence, wading boots and, in spring and autumn, waders.
