North Fork Anglers guides three stretches of the Shoshone River out of Cody, Wyoming: the North Fork Shoshone, the South Fork Shoshone, and the lower Shoshone, which the shop calls a year-round, overlooked stretch. Catches include Yellowstone, Snake River and Bonneville cutthroat, rainbow, cuttbow, brown and brook trout, tiger trout, and whitefish, all fished catch-and-release. Float trips in the Cody area run $600 for a half day and $675 for a full day, covering 6 to 10 miles with up to two anglers per boat; walk-and-wade trips run $550 for a half day and $675 for a full day, also for up to two anglers, with additional anglers added for $100 to $125 each up to a maximum of three rods per guide. Equipment rentals and instruction are available for anglers at every skill level.
