NW Columbia Fishing Adventures

This is a year-round Columbia River programme worked seasonally rather than a single-species charter: spring, summer and fall salmon, sturgeon, winter and summer steelhead, sockeye, kokanee, walleye, shad and bass all appear on the calendar, each in its own window. The boat is a 26-foot Alumaweld outfitted with reliable Yamaha motors, carrying a Garmin electronics package and a bow-mount Minn Kota, and it takes parties of one to six. A full eight-hour day is $250 per person and a half day is $150 per person. Named tactics include bait fishing with custom-cured salmon eggs and trolling cut-plug and whole herring for spring Chinook. The operation launches out of Battle Ground and posts dated fishing reports through the season.
