Springfield, Missouri · Fishes Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake is the water, fished from two bay boats, a Ranger 2360 centre console pushed by a 225 horsepower four stroke Yamaha and a twenty two foot Blue Wave, each taking one to six anglers. Trips are sold by the hour: four hours at $400, six at $500 and eight at $700, with each additional person $75. Spoonbill trips are priced separately at $550 for six hours and $750 for eight, and that season is a narrow one, limited to forty seven days from the fifteenth of March to the thirtieth of April. Bass, walleye and crappie carry the rest of the year. Rods and reels, all artificial lures, live bait if it is wanted, ice, water, fuel and life vests are all found, and the fish are cleaned at the end of the day. Days are run as teaching days on seasonal patterns rather than simply put and take.
